Projects

Honky Tonk Sail is a project that unites new orleans traditional jazz with sailing. On board a catamaran, a group of musicians travel around by the power of the wind. After touring in the Caribbean Islands and New Orleans in winter 2017-2018, Honky Tonk had crossed the Atlantic Ocean in the spring 2018. Playing festivals and concerts in the Azores, Ireland, Belgium and France in the summer, continuing to Galicia, Portugal and Canary islands for the winter. In the spring of 2019, Honky Tonk will enter the Mediterranean sea. The plan is to do repairs on the dry in a boatyard called Navibois in Sète, France.

Honky Tonk is an open project that hosts a number of International musicians that keep changing. Different people come and go as the band set up evolves between 3 and 8 musicians, always playing hot jazz. The catamaran hosts 2 permanent residents : Bots, captain and musician, and Soizic Séon, graphic designer and organiser of cultural and maritime projects.
